Mia Greer is a registered nurse with more than 25 years of experience and ten years of clinical laboratory management. She received her Bachelor of Science in Nursing and Health Administration from the University of Alabama, her beloved Alma Mater. For eight years, Mia supervised and managed the operations side of a national laboratory. During this time, she played an integral role in the start-up and operations of multiple laboratories in 13 states. As a member of the Texas Health Care Association, Mia holds a CLIA certificate from the state of Texas.
A voracious reader and wordsmith, Mia is a thoughtful leader and a visionary who strives to innovate existing elements to have a higher, more profound impact. Close associates, colleagues, and clients describe Mia as compassionate, consistent, deliberate, focused, resilient, intelligent, and wise.
As a leader, Mia has been trained and mentored by some of the best and brightest, including the world-renowned Dr. Bramwell Osula, who currently serves as Assistant Professor at the School of Global Leadership and Entrepreneurship at, Regent University in Virginia. With a Ph.D. in Sociology, Dr. Osula is an expert in leadership education and development, cross-cultural thinking, organizational diagnosis, consulting theory and practice, ethics, coaching, global leadership, cross-cultural analyses, security, and public policy. As an absolute leader, Mia has been able to prove that with a persistence that what seems the impossible is achievable. Mia is a go-to leader with integrity. She is accountable and can be counted on to get things done right. Mia is a highly competent, driven, energetic, committed leader who is passionate about helping and inspiring others. With her infectious smile, Mia’s presence commands attention, and her work ethic inspires and motivates others. Mia dedicates herself to living a humble life by servicing those in need.
Mia has had the privilege of traveling all over the world, experiencing various cultures, expanding her medical knowledge, and engaging in thoughtful, meaningful conversations; all of which have influenced the woman, leader, and servant that she is today.
Mia is a dedicated member of the ROCK ATX church, (formerly the ROCK Round Rock). Through her persistent, empowering leadership, and as part of the Growth Ministry, and the COO of Community Coalition for Health (C2H), she has successfully planned and implemented all of C2H’s programming. She is the liaison between the community and C2H, a dynamic program that Mia fiercely champions to empower patients with diabetes throughout the community with the tools they need to effectively manage or prevent the disease while inspiring them with motivational activities to help them to lead healthier, productive, and more intentional living.
